McDonald’s Australia, together with Wieden+Kennedy Sydney, has rolled out a new national campaign, “You Deserve A Little Treat” — a fun reminder that being an adult isn’t always easy, so it’s okay to pause and treat yourself once in a while.

McDonald’s Australia and Wieden+Kennedy Sydney have launched “You Deserve A Little Treat,” a playful new campaign celebrating life’s small wins and the simple joy of treating yourself.
In response to fan demand, McCafé is adding three new matcha drinks — Matcha Iced Latte, Strawberry Matcha Iced Latte, and Matcha Latte — to its lineup. The campaign captures the freedom of Aussie youth earning their P plates, symbolizing the independence to enjoy a Macca’s moment anytime.
Directed by Gabriel Gasparinatos, the film follows a young observer watching an adult relish a Strawberry Matcha Iced Latte — turning an everyday sip into a symbolic “grown-up” milestone.
As Amanda Nakad, Marketing Director for McDonald’s Australia, puts it, “Aussies already have a special relationship with Macca’s — it’s where we go to reward ourselves, even in the smallest ways.”
The campaign brings that spirit to life with humor and honesty — because in 2025, surviving work, summer, or just adulthood is reason enough to treat yourself.
