Valerie Madon has made a swift return to the agency world.
After a short stint at Meta, where she joined in November 2022 as Director of Creative Shop for Southeast Asia and Emerging Markets, Madon has been appointed Chief Creative Officer, Southeast Asia at McCann Worldgroup. She will join the network in mid-May, based in Singapore, reporting to Nick Handel, President, McCann Worldgroup Southeast Asia.
In her new role, Madon will lead creative teams across Singapore, Thailand and Hong Kong, while also serving as Chair of McCann Worldgroup’s APAC Creative Leadership Community.
A highly respected creative leader in Asia Pacific, Madon brings over 20 years of experience, with senior roles at Havas, JWT, VMLY&R and two stints at Meta/Facebook. Her work spans brands including Singapore Airlines, HSBC, P&G, Burger King, VISA and Shell, and she has judged and won at all major global award shows.
Welcoming her appointment, Prasoon Joshi, Chairman, McCann Worldgroup Asia Pacific, said Madon’s leadership would further strengthen the network’s creative excellence in the region, while Nick Handel highlighted her vision, mentorship and impact on McCann’s ambition to lead in creativity.
