The much-anticipated Innovation shortlist for Spikes Asia 2026 has been revealed, highlighting some of the most forward-thinking ideas from across the Asia-Pacific creative industry. The category celebrates bold concepts that merge technology, creativity, and problem-solving to deliver groundbreaking solutions for brands and society.

This year’s shortlist reflects how agencies and brands are increasingly experimenting with emerging technologies and inventive thinking to tackle real-world challenges. From early-stage tech to purpose-driven innovations, the selected projects demonstrate how creativity can evolve beyond traditional campaigns into products, platforms, and systems that create meaningful impact.

Among the shortlisted entries are several standout ideas pushing the boundaries of innovation. These include “Vision Pulse: Sight Beyond Seeing” by Hyundai Motor Company and Paulus Seoul in the Early-Stage Technology category, “Haven” by Leo Sydney in Brand-Led Innovation, and “Smart Eye Camera” by TBWA\Hakuhodo Tokyo and OUI Tokyo in Product Innovation.

Environmental and social impact also play a major role in this year’s lineup. Projects such as “Tsugiki: Coffee Reborn” by PR Consulting Dentsu and Dentsu Inc. Tokyo explore sustainability, while societal innovation entries like “Garuda Rakshak,” “Cheer Signs,” “Waves of Will Powered by NTT,” and “Darescore” demonstrate how technology-driven ideas can address social challenges and empower communities.

The shortlisted work will now move to the next stage of judging, where the industry’s top creative leaders will evaluate the ideas in greater depth. Winners will be announced during the Spikes Asia Festival of Creativity 2026, where the region’s best innovations in marketing and communications will be celebrated.
