Boomtown, the media collective representing nearly 10 million people across regional Australia, is closing out 2025 with its final Masterclass of the year. Set for Tuesday, November 19, the online summer session promises a refreshed format, packed with new data, case studies, and a closer look at media channel opportunities for brands targeting regional audiences. Registrations are now open for the event.

This Masterclass will feature insights from two of Boomtown’s most passionate regional advocates: Amy Dascanio, managing director of Enigma Media, and Tara Lamond, group business director at Pearman Media. The session will be moderated by Wade Kingsley, founder of The Ideas Business, and will also showcase new Boomtown videos featuring renowned Australian demographer Bernard Salt AM.
Dascanio brings 24 years of media and marketing experience, having held senior roles at Zenith, Mindshare, and MediaCom. Based in Newcastle, she is a strong advocate for regional media and leads Enigma Media with a channel-agnostic approach that spans broadcast, digital, performance, and data. Her focus on full-funnel media planning highlights the growing role regional media plays in driving business growth.

Lamond offers over two decades of media expertise across metropolitan and regional markets. Growing up in regional NSW, she understands the spending power and potential of regional communities. Her career includes senior advertising roles at National Geographic Channel, Fox International Channels, and Foxtel, giving her a unique perspective on planning and executing successful regional campaigns for a variety of clients.
Francesca Ryan, Boomtown’s Marketing Lead, said the summer Masterclass reflects the collective’s commitment to keeping its education offerings modern, innovative, and relevant. “Our Masterclass series helps agencies and brands unlock the potential of regional audiences. Both Amy and Tara bring invaluable knowledge and passion for regional Australia, making this session a must-attend,” Ryan said. Since its inception, Boomtown has trained over 2,000 marketing professionals and significantly increased national regional advertising spend, which has grown nearly 40% under the collective’s efforts.
